the task
Atelier NOVA is an interdisciplinary design studio based in Vienna and Linz, offering services from concept to product (photography, design, web). However, the web presence was completely missing. The goal was to provide a stage for the work of the two photographers & designers, which presents their projects in the best possible way. Whether on desktop or mobile devices, a good insight into the work had to be guaranteed.
With the help of a mood board, the basic aesthetic mood of the website was planned and the following design elements were used:

the line
The design is simple and minimalistic - as is the color palette. Except for the accent color red, which is only found in the navigation menu, the color palette is composed of neutral colors. The typography consists of serif and sans-serif fonts to leave an elegant but defining impression on users.

The website features a minimalist design that presents the projects attractively on the desktop as well as on the tablet and smartphone. With the help of a grid on the start page (desktop), an overview of the projects is immediately provided so that users can easily choose for themselves which works they want to take a closer look at.
The website was successfully implemented with Wordpress and is now used by the female photographer duo to present their projects.
